Carolynn Conron, Barrister & Solicitor
Carolynn Conron is a strong and intelligent advocate. She takes the time to listen and really understand your issues. She is able to relate your legal issues to the law in a way that is easy to understand. Carolynn can give you an informed basis to understand your legal rights and the potential results of different options.
In addition to a busy law practice, Carolynn Conron is active in the community, including volunteer work with London Lawyers Feed the Hungry, and as a committee member of The Meal, helping to raise money for Diabetes Canada.
Carolynn is the Vice President of the London Criminal Lawyers’ Association and a member of the Middlesex Law Association and Ontario Criminal Lawyers’ Association. She obtained her Master of Laws from The University of Western Ontario, her Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia and completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University with a double major in Philosophy and Communication Studies, psychology minor.
Sam Puchala, Executive Law Student
Sam Puchala is passionate about criminal defence and the accused’s fundamental rights to a fair trial. She has experience working with the defence, the prosecution, and the judiciary across three different provinces in both of Canada’s official languages.
Sam is completing the final semester of her Juris Doctor at l’Université de Moncton in New Brunswick. She has been awarded several scholarships, including from the New Brunswick Law Society, and the Department of Canadian Heritage. She was also selected for numerous competitive programs, including the prestigious McKelvey Cup Trial Competition, where she won the award for best opening address to the jury.
Sam is a fierce advocate for justice and has held various positions of leadership in law, including within the Canadian Bar Association and Pro Bono Students Canada. She is also an active member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association (CLA), the Advocate’s Society and l’Association des juristes d’expression françaises de l’Ontario (AJEFO).
Sam holds the presumption of innocence to the highest standard and her sharp wit and fearless determination help us provide our clients with the best defence possible. She plans to pursue a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in sexual crimes and has presented her ongoing research on a variety of topics both nationally and internationally. She is fully committed to her clients and looks forward to be called to the Law Society of Ontario in 2019.
